Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda All Inclusive Resort

ULTIMATE VACATIONS found Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda to be a solid 4-Star with a surprisingly large list of included amenities not found at similar rated resorts. For starters, everyone is welcome  - families and couples. This is a wristband-free All-Inclusive in Riviera Maya, Mexico that includes Free WiFi, a Concierge for every building, and unlimited dining at six a la carte restaurants and one buffet. This is a relatively sprawling resort spread over eight (8), 3- and 4-story buildings located about 35-40-minutes south of the Cancun airport and less than 15-minutes from exciting Playa del Carmen. If you are traveling with small children or prefer to be close to the beach we do not recommend the Garden rooms, they are quite a distance away. Of course there is a cart available to transport guests to the beach but it may not always accommodate your schedule or the weather. The six unlimited a la carte restaurants are attractively inviting and we receive excellent feedback from our clients for the cuisine quality. Most require reservations but that is not a challenge. The Sports Bar is open around the clock and 24-Hour room service is available, so there is always something to munch on. The rooms are nice but not extravagant. There are options for Ocean View and Swim-up rooms with the appropriate upgrade charge. The beach is somewhat diminished though still respectable. However the pools are enormous and equipped with swim-up bars and children's pool areas.
