In 2016 El Dorado Maroma introduced Mexico's only Palafitos Overwater Bungalows, complete with lit glass floors to observe marine life and private deck plunge pools, access to the exclusive Overwater Restaurant and Spa, plus much more. There is nothing else like it in this area!

El Dorado Maroma is blessed to be built on a beach called 'Best Beach in the World' by the Travel Discovery Channel. ULTIMATE VACATIONS witnessed El Dorado Maroma being built from the ground up. We even visited the resort while it was under construction. Here what's impressive. All guests must be at least 16 years or older. There are only 157 suites, so intimacy is the grand result. El Dorado Maroma has beachfront suites. Plus the swim-up junior suites, Jacuzzi Junior Suites, Honeymoon Suites, and Infinity Pool Junior Suites with Jacuzzi all feature romantic private open-air showers.
