The Excellence Punta Cana air conditioned fitness center is fully equipped with exercise equipment, free weights, treadmills, Nordictrack/Universal, and stair climbers; plus daily classes in yoga, pilates, crossfit and aerobics.

Swimming Pools and Beach

Excellence Punta Cana has 4 large swimming pools and a series of scenic, lazy river pools throughout the resort.  You will also find 4 outdoor hot water Jacuzzis. There are several pool area bars and swim-up bars as well as waiters who will personally take and deliver your drink orders.

The beach at Excellence Punta Cana is what you expect in an area as acclaimed for its beaches as Punta Cana; soft white sand and the ability to walk uninterrupted for miles. I did. On the beach there are ample cushioned adjustable loungers and tables for drinks, and a plethora of palapas for shade (included). The wait staff comes around somewhat regularly to take your drink order. However that service is noticeably better in the Excellence Club sections. But beach bars are nearby and no one seemed to mind taking for a few steps for a premium drink.

Entertainment

Excellence does a great job with nighttime entertainment, and Excellence Punta Cana is no exception. Their nightly shows are excellent. A disco is open nightly until 1 AM.
