While this resort does feature famed Nickelodeon characters like SpongeBob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol among others, it is not overrun with characters or Nick signage. The color orange is used abundantly but Nickelodeon is hardly thrown in your face at every turn. Food quality at most family oriented all-inclusive resorts tend to underwhelm. Seems like the prevailing philosophy is: keep the kids happy with mac and cheese, and chicken fingers, keep them out of their parents hair, and the adults will be happy. That is not the case at Nickelodeon Punta Cana. Karisma Resorts delivers as high of standard here as in any of their resorts. We are very impressed with the food quality.
While of course there are food and bar options convenient to the pools and beach, we really like the Food & Beverage Village. This central area is home to the majority of restaurants, with a large outdoor entertainment area devoted to nightly live entertainment and occasional daytime events, like the Hog Roast we witnessed. From here you can enjoy gourmet quality Sicilian, Far East, burgers, cooking stations and international cuisine. All while dancing and listening to live music before and after dinner with portable bars and servers to take care of your drinking needs.

A major attraction to Nickelodeon Punta Cana is Nickelodeon Place. The main feature here is Aqua Nick for all of your water fun needs: water slides, splash pads, spray grounds and a lazy river. Character Central is the place to meet your favorite Nickelodeon characters. Just Kiddin' is the place for dry fun with both structured and do-it-yourself Nickelodeon action, and even surprise appearances from Nickelodeon characters. And of course Aqua Bite makes certain no one goes hungry or thirsty with Flatbread pizza, Pita wraps, salads and even tasty chicken wings. The bar serves all kinds of thirst quenching drinks including surprisingly delicious Mojitos.
The beach is spectacular with lots of available shade, the Fitness Center is excellent, and the Vassa Spa will relax you with the water circuit, and treatment rooms both indoors and by the Caribbean Sea.
