Let's talk about the original section of El Dorado Seaside Suites - the Palms Section. This resort earned its stellar reputation with a series of 2-story building hugging the beach. You either had ground floor access to the beach or the elevated second floor superior beachfront view, each with a patio or balcony respectively. These rooms are roomy and relaxed and equipped with a Jacuzzi. A second stretch of buildings were erected behind these featuring swim-up first floor rooms and higher floors looking down on the pools from their balcony.
Several of the restaurants in the Palms Section are built right on or next to the beach. Some even include picnic tables to enjoy your morning breakfast or daily rotating lunch special. After all, isn't that why we come to the tropics - to absorb the ocean views, smells and breezes.
And then at the very end of 2015 El Dorado Seaside Suites raised the bar once again with the six-story Infinity Section adjoining the original section. The entire elevated ground floor features swim-up rooms with patio access to the main pool and swim-up bar. Floors two through five feature balconies with outstanding oceanfront view - and they are magnificent. Additionally, these suites have balcony access to a building-wide infinity pool. And the top floor (6), the Honeymoon OceanFront Swim-up Jacuzzi Suites, have the premier views and nothing above them to shade the sun from your balcony and pool.
As El Dorado Seaside Suites has not just expanded - it has evolved. You now have 11 restaurants featuring Karisma's famed Gourmet Inclusive fare. Sure there is an outstanding buffet, the the vast majority of restaurants come with full service as you order form extensive specialty menus. Mexican, Italian, Caribbean, Asian, International, Latin Fusion - you name and it is here.
There are 11 bars and lounges - each with its own personality - relaxed, open-air, air conditioned, laid back, and pulsating with live bands. There's even a Mezcal bar featuring you know what. What tasty recipes they create! And now there is even a weekly Foam Pool Party that guests can not wait to begin.
We are not here to render a favorite section. That is a matter of personal taste - your taste. We say why not enjoy the entire resort. There is so much to love and appreciate about both sides - and variety is a wonderful thing, especially when you can enjoy it in the same place.
