RENOVATIONS: RIU PALACE PUNTA CANA
Credit to Riu Resorts for the temporary closing of Riu Palace Punta Cana for well needed renovations. But even greater credit due for expanding and enhancing the resort with great new features and amenities.
The resort has closed for these major renovations and is expected to reopen in July, 2018. Here is a look at the expected renovations and improvements.
Expanded main building with new rooms, new gym, sauna, and spa.
New showers in all guestrooms to replace the former bathtubs.
3 New pools and an enlarged children's' pool with new slides.
A new Spanish restaurant will replace the Brazilian restaurant.
New Capuchino patisserie.
RiuLand, the kids club, will get a major makeover.
