Supported by a peak of 91 percent occupancy in February, 2018, Riviera Nayarit, self proclaimed Mexico's most luxurious destination, reported an average occupancy of 75% for the year.

EXPANDED INVENTORY FOR 2091 & BEYOND
Marival Resorts will open its third property Marival Armony Punta de Mita with more than 260 rooms in 2019.
Iberostar is set to open a 300-room property in Litibu in 2019.
The Four Seasons Punta Mita is currently in the midst of a 4-year, $30 million enhancement is schedule to be completed in 2019.
One & Only Mandarina will house one of the world's first One & Only residence collections, One & Only Mandarina Private Homes set for 2020.
AMResorts will add to the all inclusive options by opening Dreams Punta de Mita Resort (for all ages) and Secrets de Mita Resort & Spa (adult-only) in 2020.
The second half of 2021 will bring a nearly two-billion dollar luxury development that will be home to five new resorts, adding more than 7,000 rooms to the destinations inventory, including the first Fairmont in the area. This development will deliver more than four miles of beaches, 2,500 waterfront residential units plus a championship golf course designed by Lorena Ochoa and Greg Norman.
An exciting opening scheduled for 2022 is the Ritz-Carlton Reserve Riviera Nayarit, featuring 110 rooms, suites and private villas with ocean views.
Also on the books for a yet unconfirmed date is the first Cirque de Soleil theme park in Mexico, an immersive natural water park with a capacity of 5,000.
