When we do get the "All Clear" I know there will be tremendous pent up demand to travel and get to a beach on St. Somewhere. I know am heading that way immediately with no hesitation. When we do reach that day there is a brand new exciting all inclusive resort just waiting for us. In fact it opened the same week most of us were ordered to stay inside.

I love these rooms, all 148 of them. They are designed in tropical colors, and with nautical touches and modern amenities. All elegantly done, nothing gaudy for sure. Room options range from the comfy 312 square foot Paradise Room, through Junior Suites, Swim-up Suites, all the way to the Presidential Swim Up Chill Out Suite. All guest rooms include AC, smart TV, either one king bed, two queen beds, or one king + pull out sofa, safety deposit box, direct dial phone with free international calls, deluxe bathrobes, rain forest shower head, hairdryer and vanity mirror. Plus 24-hour room service. All accommodations open to a balcony complete with Adirondack chairs or day bed, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, pools, or gardens.

Every room will have a complimentary in-room bar experience. You can actually treat yourself to your favorite drinks, complete with glassware for margaritas, cocktails and all the needed tools, including a famous Margaritaville blender and shakers. So that means coffee or mimosa in the morning, beer during the day, and even a frozen Margaritaville to celebrate sunset from your balcony. There are an extensive variety of items included to customize your in-room bar experience at Joe Merchant's Coffee & Provisions located in the lobby. You select only what you want, your favorite beer, wine, soft drinks, juices, snacks, margarita's, etc. In simple terms - you stock your own beverage center and min-fridge with exactly what you want!

Food is an important factor for Margaritaville. Rita's Taco House, set on a spectacular ocean front deck will serve freshly prepared Mexican dishes as well as Jimmy Buffett inspired Caribbean favorites, along with premium agave beverages. Frank & Lola's treats guests to handcrafted authentic Italian Tratoria dishes and fine wines. Latino is a fun gathering place for creative fusions of Latin and Asian.

The Beach House is well, located on the beach. This is no ordinary buffet. Food stations serve up creative Caribbean and land lover favorites throughout the day and night, always freshly prepared.

With a name like Margaritaville, inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett you can be sure beverages are super important. In addition to Margaritaville, Jimmy coined the line "Waitress, I need two more drink boats." Cheers to that. Expect premium brands of beers, wines and spirits including tequilas and rums for sure.

5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar

The 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar, poolside bar just steps from the beach has all of your favorites. The License To Chill Bar, a beachfront adult-only bar is all about the Chill, complete with its own wet feet pool, and fire pits at night. Compass is the lobby bar featuring rum and rum concoctions until 1 am. You will find me here, watching sports on the many TV screens. Should you get overwhelmed with adult boat drinks there is Blended, to get energized with a super food bowl, vegan options, fresh fruits and smoothies. And if that's not your bag, try a swim-up bar. For rejuvenation visit the St Somewhere Spa. Kids 4 through 12 will love the plethora of supervised activities at the Parakeets Kids Club. If you indulge in daily fitness you will not have to give it up. You can have your margarita and drink it too thanks to the Fins Up Fitness Centre.
